"Being with and learning with Ea Hawaiʻi visionist teachers that taught us how to pursue our future with Ea, The courses were empowering by educating us with the necessary acts of history, our purpose, who we are as a lāhui and how we share the same vision as students, as kānaka maoli."

"All the activities were good but I felt that the kukakuka evenings were essential. It isn't often that you see your kumu outside of the classroom setting."

"Before Ea field school I had a basic definition of what Ea meant to me. Afterwards it was very clear that there are endless definitions and I became passionate about all of them."

"Having active Hawaiian teachers that incorporate Ea Hawaiʻi into their lives, and academics shows what it is to live Ea Hawaiʻi. Teaching us how holomua in a society that is under occupation and imperialism, that in order for us to survive, we need to look to our past, learn from it and pursue."
