Growing out of the OLD ORDER through REFLECTION and DIALOGUE and bettering our curiosity and desire for continued knowledge and education!
Paulo Freire, a Brazilian native whoʻs work as an educator and philosopher, transcends time and space, class, race and mental processes. Freirie, a forerunner of anti-colonial philosophy and education began to see decprencies in elites education methods and the working class. His life experiences dictated a tremendous amount of his work. Paulo grew up in Brazil during economic crises allowing his life to give true measures of what poverty and hunger look like. He is also an author who's strong convictions have made global impact, raising the consciousness of free, un-oppressed thinking. Bold in his perspective he remains true to the central belief that all human beings are connected and that all humans deserve to be treated with dignity. His book “Pedagogy of the Oppressed” highlights the elite education, the wrong system that entangles peoples to remain oppressed and how change in the system needs to happen for true education to be possessed. While never failing to communicate to both the oppressed and oppressor, like a true educator.
